Keith Cyzen is Of Counsel in the General Corporate Department at Duggan Bertsch, LLC in Chicago, a transactional law firm with a core focus on business and corporate representation for the entrepreneur and private client. While Keith is well-versed in many areas of the law, his practice primarily focuses on corporate structuring, contract negotiations, and mergers and acquisitions. Keith also acts as outside general counsel for numerous companies. Keith represents a broad range of markets including manufacturing, financial, distribution, technology, services and retail industries.
An attorney, inventor and entrepreneur, Keith’s expertise lies in assisting other inventors and entrepreneurs in defining and protecting intellectual property, patent management, raising capital, engineering, manufacturing, licensing, sales rep best practices and endorsements. Prior to joining at Duggan Bertsch LLC, Keith practiced law for more than 20 years as a partner in the corporate and securities department at Chapman and Cutler LLP in Chicago.
Keith graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science degree. He earned his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law.
