Mr. Motin joined Duggan Bertsch, LLC in 2016 with over 25 years of legal practice experience and, as a partner in the firm, practices in the firm’s Estate and Wealth Planning, and Business and Corporate Groups. Prior to joining the firm, Paul founded and owned a successful law firm in Minnesota for over 20 years, concentrating primarily in the areas of estate planning, trust and probate administration, taxation, guardianships and conservatorships, real estate and business planning. Prior to that, he practiced with law firms and CPA firms both in Illinois and Minnesota.
Paul has always enjoyed being active in the communities in which he lived. While in Minnesota, he served as a Councilmember on the Elk River (pop. 24,000+) City Council for 16 years and he also served on the Economic Development Authority, Housing and Redevelopment Authority, EDA Finance Committee, Northstar Corridor (commuter rail) Development Authority, and Sherburne County Law Library. He also served as a member and Director of the Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce and the Elk River Rotary Club. Paul currently serves as a trustee of Sigma Tau Gamma Foundation, Inc., a multi-million dollar §501(c)(3) education foundation.
